Ayana Renewable Power (Ayana), a wholly-owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green, has announced that the company has secured 193 MW of capacity in Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company’s (MPPMCL) 800 MW wind power auction.

The company secured the capacity at a tariff of INR 4.17/kWh.

MPPMCL floated the tender in June 2025 for the selection of wind power developers (WPD) to procure up to 800 MW of wind power from projects set up anywhere in India, with an additional capacity of up to 100 percent under the greenshoe option through a competitive bidding process followed by a reverse e-auction.

As per the tender, identification of land, installation and ownership of the project, along with obtaining connectivity and necessary approvals and interconnection with the ISTS network or InSTS network (as applicable) for supply of power to MPPMCL, will be under the scope of the WPD.

The declared/revised annual CUF shall in no case be less than 22 percent. The WPD shall maintain energy supply so as to achieve an annual CUF not less than 80 percent of the declared/revised value and not more than 120 percent of the declared/revised CUF value.

The project will allow deployment of only ALMM (Wind) certified wind turbine models.
