AXISCADES strengthens its Energy Segment portfolio; to setup ODC for Siemens Wind Power

AXISCADES Engineering Technologies Ltd has announced the signing oflongterm strategic contract with Siemens Wind Power.

Building on a partnership initiated in 2012, AXISCADES will be strengthening the relationship by providing Engineering Services in a cost effective model with Siemens Wind Power. The plan is to set up a dedicated offshore development centre in order to provide design, design support and other associated engineering services to the DenmarkOEM. AXISCADES will provide Siemens with its learnings and established global project management and quality initiatives towards establishing a basic philosophy of error free Engineering drawings.

The centre will start with 50 engineers and will grow over time as both the companies explore new technical areas of providing offshore value addition. AXISCADES will provide the necessary infrastructure in setting up this ODC. Siemens sees value in relation with AXISCADES as they bring in their valuable Engineering experience of both Aerospace and Heavy Industries.
