Australian Premium Solar Secures INR 10.77 Cr Order from TREDA to Supply 633 Solar Pumps
Australian Premium Solar (India) Ltd. has secured an INR 10.77 crore contract from Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA) to supply 633 off-grid solar water pumping systems under Component B of the PM-KUSUM Scheme. The company is also expanding its TOPCon panel manufacturing capacity by 800 MW.

Australian Premium Solar (India) Ltd. has secured an INR 10.77 crore contract from Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA) for the supply of 633 off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems (SPWPS).
The company has received the Letter of Award (LoA) from TREDA, it stated in a regulatory filing.
The order is received under the Component B of the PM-KUSUM Scheme. The contract also includes 5 years of warranty, annual maintenance contract and insurance coverage.
Talking about the growth potential in the Indian solar pump segment, in a recent investor call disucussing Q3 FY25 results, Nikunj Patel, CEO and Founder, Australian Premium Solar (India) Ltd. said, “In the solar pump segment, the government is expecting more than 1 crore solar pump by 2030. So, the government has set the timeline with long-term targets initially for 3 to 5 years. And, maybe if we see until 2048, then the overall target is also increased up to 1,800 GW in renewable energy from India.”
He further shared that the company, established in 2013, is into making Mono PERC and TOPCon solar panel manufacturing besides EPC and distribution. “This quarter, we have added new territories and strengthened our existing market position. Currently, we are working in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and also in Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, MP and Tripura. Additionally, we are exploring new territories in coming quarters.”
Outlining the expansion plan, he shared that the company is adding 800 MW capacity for TOPCon panels. “The first phase of 400 MW will be commissioned by June 30, 2025. The second phase, we are expecting to start within 12 months,” he said.
