Atlas Copco Showcases Energy-Efficient Air Solutions at REI Expo

Atlas Copco is showcasing energy-efficient compressed air and gas generation technologies for renewable energy and clean technology applications at the Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) 2026, being held in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, from October 22 to 24.

The company is presenting a portfolio of industrial solutions as India expands its manufacturing capabilities in solar, wind, battery production, green hydrogen and energy storage. Reliable and energy-efficient utility systems are becoming increasingly important for manufacturers seeking to optimise power consumption, reduce operating costs and improve operational reliability.

The solutions on display include oil-free and oil-injected air compressors, energy-efficient dryers and filtration systems, on-site oxygen and nitrogen generation systems, compressed air piping, energy recovery solutions, smart monitoring systems and centralised controllers for compressor rooms.

Compressed air plays an important role in solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing, battery production, green hydrogen projects, wind energy component manufacturing and industrial automation. Atlas Copco's variable speed drive (VSD) technology and digital connectivity systems are designed to optimise energy consumption, reduce operating costs and improve equipment uptime by adapting compressor performance to changing operational requirements.

The company said that these technologies can help industrial facilities improve energy efficiency, maintain reliable operations and reduce their environmental footprint while supporting the transition to cleaner energy.

Commenting on the company's participation, Bhavin Pandya, General Manager, Compressor Technique Customer Center, Atlas Copco (India) Pvt.
