Atlanta Electricals Secures INR 183.54 Crore EHV Transformers Order from BNC Power Projects

Gujarat-based Atlanta Electricals has secured an INR 183.54 crore order from BNC Power Projects for the supply of EHV transformers and a 400 KV bus reactor for the latter’s Pugal site.

Gujarat-based transformer manufacturer Atlanta Electricals has announced that the company has won an order from BNC Power Projects aggregating INR 183.54 crore. This order is for the supply of mix of 315 MVA, 400 KV and 100 MVA, 132 KV transformers and a 400 KV bus reactor at their Pugal site.

The project covers design, manufacturing, testing and supply to the Pugal site. The deliveries will be sequenced post engineering and drawing approvals, providing multi-quarter execution visibility and a steady production run-rate, the company said in a statement.

Commenting on the development, Niral Patel, Managing Director, Atlanta Electricals said, “This is a marquee win in our EHV portfolio and a strong endorsement of Atlanta's design, testing and execution capabilities. The product mix of EHV power transformers and bus reactor, plays to our core strengths and expands our reference base in grid-critical projects.”

He further added, “For the company, this order adds multi-quarter execution visibility and supports a steady manufacturing run-rate once approvals are in place, improving capacity utilisation and operating leverage across our Anand facilities.”

Atlanta Electricals specialises in power, auto and inverter duty transformers. As of March 31, 2025, the company has supplied 4,400 transformers, totalling to 94,000 MVA, across 19 states and three union territories, the company stated.
