Atirath Holdings has announced that the company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government to invest about INR 4,000 crore to set up 25 compressed biogas (CBG) plants, each with a capacity of 20 tonnes per day, across Telangana.
The MoU was exchanged during the Telangana Rising Global Summit at Bharat Future City, in presence of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
Under the plan, each facility will utilise Napier grass as its primary feedstock, helping create a structured agricultural supply chain while generating substantial rural employment opportunities across cultivation, logistics, harvesting, and plant operations.
Last month, the company signed an MoU with Andhra Pradesh government to set up 25 CBG plants of 20 TPD capacity with a total investment of INR 4,000 crore.
