The Assam Power Distribution Company (APDCL) has announced that it has issued two tenders for setting up of rooftop solar projects and an off-grid floating solar power plant in the state worth a cumulative 955 kW capacity.
The first Request for Proposal (RfP) has been issued for setting up of 940 kW off-grid rooftop solar projects at various rural primary healthcare centres (PHC) across the state. The 940 kW will be set up as 188 separate projects atop different PHC’s with each system worth 5 kW capacity.
The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the site survey, design, engineering, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the projects. The developers would also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the plants for a period of five years. The selected bidders will have a period of 6 months to complete the work on the project.

To be qualified, the bidders should have an annual turnover and net worth not less than Rs 5 crore in the las three financial years.
