Assam Releases Tender for Off-Grid Solar Power Plant

The Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APDCL) has announced that it has released a tender for setting up of an off-grid solar power plant at significant historical sites in the state of Assam.

The concise extent of work for selected bidders will include the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning including 5 years Operation, Comprehensive Warranty, and Maintenance of the off-grid system.

The last date of bid submission is February 26, 2019, and the online opening of technical bids will be opened on the same date.

All bidders are requisite to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 8 lakh along with their bids. The time provided for conclusion of the work is 6 months from the date of issue of the letter of award.

To be entitled, The Bidder should have experience in design, supply, manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning of grid-connected/Off Grid Solar PV Power Project with minimum 50 kW aggregate capacity of solar PV array during last three years. The average yearly turnover of the bidder over the last three years should not be less than Rs 1.2 crore.
