AMPIN Energy Transition has commissioned a 45 MWp solar project in Patnagarh, marking its second consecutive group captive C&I open access project under OREP-22 and a key milestone in Odisha’s renewable energy push.

The project was executed end-to-end by AMPIN, from land acquisition to construction and commissioning, and is connected to the grid via LILO infrastructure. The company has played a role across the value chain, including policy development and on-ground implementation.

The solar plant supplies clean power to major corporates such as Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Ltd., Parle Products Pvt. Ltd, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Arya Iron and Steel Company Pvt. Ltd., and Shree Ganesh Metaliks Ltd. It replaces nearly 50 percent of conventional grid power, enabling 25–30 percent cost savings while ensuring reliable green energy supply.

The project is expected to reduce approximately 57 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, equivalent to planting around 27 lakh trees each year.

With an additional 45 MWp under construction and a 50 MWp pipeline, AMPIN is expanding its footprint in Odisha, targeting a ~200 MWp portfolio, supported by the state’s progressive GEOA policy, energy banking provisions, and a favorable renewable energy ecosystem.
