AMI Paradigm Solutions (AMIPS) promoted by AM Group, Greenko Group, and ParadigmIT Services Technology company focused on AI for Public Systems and Critical Infrastructure Services have signed a binding agreement to acquire the Smart World and Communication (SWC) business from L&T Technology Services Ltd.
The Smart world portfolio’s capabilities across India and other geographies are expected to complement AMIPS long term-term growth strategy, particularly in accelerating Intelligence solutions powered by AI. AMIPS would be part of the fully vertically integrated AI platform, spanning owned carbon free power, data center infrastructure, high performance chips, a software stack, applications, and flexible consumption models from Accelerator as a Service to Tokens as a Service.
The global AI in sovereign services market is estimated at roughly USD 25 billion today and is projected to reach nearly USD 100 billion by the early 2030s, growing at approximately 20 percent annually as governments deploy AI to automate services, enhance security, and enable data-driven policymaking.
Aligned with its vision of democratising AI, AM Group is developing an end-to-end value chain that transforms on-demand clean electrons into intelligent compute tokens through its AM Intelligence (AMI) Platform. AI-driven governance, public safety, defense, and intelligent infrastructure platform workloads are expected to consume 10–20 percent of AI inference demand in mature AI markets in the future running into trillions of token demand.
AMI is investing USD 25 Billion to develop 1 GW High Performance Compute Hub in Uttar Pradesh and is in the process of establishing the first phase comprising 250 MW of the cumulative 1 GW in the land parcels allocated by Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).
Anil Chalamalasetty, Chairman AM Group said, “We have built an intelligent energy platform that delivers electrons to compute more efficiently than anywhere else. In addition, we are building an end-to-end value chain that transforms on-demand clean electron into intelligent compute tokens.”
“The Smartworld & Communication business will support in operationalizing AI for mission-critical systems across governments, cities, utilities, transport networks, and enterprises, enabling more autonomous, data-driven infrastructure and decision-making,” Chalamalasetty added.
Amit Chadha, CEO and Managing Director, L&T Technology Services said, “As we pursue long-term value creation for our stakeholders, we are reframing our strategic bets, with EI, Software and Digital Manufacturing as key focus pillars in our select segments of Mobility, Sustainability and Tech.”
“We believe these will drive faster growth opportunities for LTTS. AMI Paradigm Solutions by integrating SWC’s public sector capabilities, will strengthen its AI offerings, while creating a robust platform for Smartworld employees and delivering enhanced value to our existing clients,” Chadha added.
Sridhar Gadhi of Paradigm IT said “AI is becoming the new operating layer for enterprises and governance. With this acquisition, we are building an AI-led company focused on domain-specific models, sovereign AI architectures, and outcome-driven platforms that help governments and enterprises move from digital systems to truly intelligent operations.”
Gadhi further added, “Our goal is to deliver the lowest cost, most efficient AI tokens on the planet, powered by clean energy we own and operate. By integrating the entire value chain from power generation through silicon to token delivery we can optimize SWC solutions across every layer of the stack in ways that no single-segment player can achieve.”
