Saudi-listed Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co. has signed a SAR 126 million (USD 33.6 million) contract to supply steel wind towers for the Yanbu Wind Farm, strengthening its presence in the renewable energy sector.
The agreement, finalised with SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., involves the manufacturing and delivery of wind towers over a nine-month period. Supply for the project is set to begin in April 2026, with financial contributions expected to reflect from the second quarter.
The Yanbu Wind Farm forms part of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to expand renewable energy capacity and reduce reliance on fossil fuels, positioning projects like this as key to the kingdom’s long-term energy transition.
