Agastya Energy has successfully commissioned its first 2.7 MW/3.38 MWp solar power project at Kazimabad in Aligarh district, Uttar Pradesh, under the Government of India's PM-KUSUM programme.
The commissioning marks an important milestone in the company's solar infrastructure journey, establishing its first operational project and strengthening its presence in renewable energy project development and execution.
The project contributes to the broader expansion of decentralised renewable energy infrastructure under PM-KUSUM, a government initiative aimed at promoting solar energy adoption in the agricultural sector and strengthening rural energy infrastructure.
The successful commissioning also establishes an operational project reference for Agastya Energy as it advances its capabilities across solar project execution and infrastructure development.
The development comes amid India's continued focus on expanding decentralised solar capacity and strengthening domestic renewable energy infrastructure.
