AEPCo Jordan and GSI Form GSIAEP to Spearhead Solar Projects in Jordan

Alternative Energy Projects Company Jordan (AEPCo Jordan) – a member of Kuwait’s KIPCO Group – has partnered up with Jordan-based development, contracting, and investment company Green Sources Investments (GSI) and has created a joint partnership called Green Sources Investment for Alternative Energy Projects (GSIAEP).

This collaboration marks a key milestone in the region's renewable energy landscape, aiming to serve as a pivotal platform for commercial and industrial solar projects. With a focus on driving sustainability and enhancing competitiveness, the newly formed entity brings together the expertise and resources of both AEPCo Jordan and GSI.

Dr. Hassan Qasem, CEO of AEPCo, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing its long-term commitment to Jordan's solar market. He stated, "Our partnership with Green Sources Investments comes to solidify our long-term interest in Jordan’s solar market and we are excited to build our strategy to partner with local, reputable developers who have solid presence and experience on the ground here in Jordan."

Engineer Maher Farraj, CEO of GSI, echoed Dr. Qasem's sentiments, highlighting the synergies between the two entities. "We are pleased to forge this partnership with AEPCo and build on our strong track record in solar project development, finance, execution, and asset management.
