Ahmedabad-based Advait Energy Transitions Ltd. (AETL) has joined a consortium led by Eleven Power Pvt. Ltd. that has been granted an electricity distribution licence by the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) for Gurugram and Nuh districts in Haryana.

The licence authorises the consortium to distribute electricity across the designated area, subject to the terms and conditions specified by the regulator. The development marks Advait’s participation in the power distribution segment, expanding its engagement with India’s electricity infrastructure sector beyond its established power transmission business.

As per the firm, it operates across power transmission infrastructure, clean energy manufacturing and energy transition solutions. Its portfolio includes renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), green hydrogen technologies and clean energy engineering, procurement and construction (EPC).

The company has developed capabilities in power transmission infrastructure, specialised equipment and engineering solutions. Its participation in the Eleven Power-led consortium brings it into a development involving electricity distribution infrastructure in Haryana.

Commenting on the development, Shalin Sheth, Founder and Managing Director of Advait Energy Transitions, said that the modernisation and expansion of electricity distribution infrastructure were becoming key priorities as India’s power sector undergoes transformation.

He said that Advait’s participation in the consortium marked a milestone in the company’s growth journey and reflected its continued engagement with the evolving power transmission and distribution landscape. The company would remain focused on contributing to India’s energy infrastructure sector, he added.

India’s electricity sector is facing growing requirements for reliable distribution networks, infrastructure modernisation and the integration of renewable energy. These developments are increasing the importance of coordinated investment across power generation, transmission and distribution systems.

The firm said that its participation in the consortium aligned with its broader focus on power infrastructure and energy transition technologies. The company continues to develop capabilities in specialised manufacturing, engineering and clean energy solutions.
