Solar module manufacturer ADM Solar Power & Infrastructure has announced plans to launch its next-generation G12R N-Type TOPCon bifacial dual-glass solar modules in both Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) and Non-DCR variants.

The company has also revealed plans to establish a 2.4 GW solar cell manufacturing facility and expand its PV module manufacturing capacity to 2.4 GW by the end of FY 2026–27 as part of its strategy to strengthen domestic manufacturing.

The upcoming G12R series will be available for residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), utility-scale, government and solar water pumping projects. According to the company, offering both DCR and Non-DCR variants under a single product portfolio is expected to help EPC companies and project developers streamline procurement while addressing challenges related to module availability, project execution and product consistency.

The new modules will be built using 16-busbar (16BB) N-Type TOPCon G12R solar cells and are designed to deliver up to 645 Wp of output with module efficiencies of up to 23.61 percent. The bifacial dual-glass design is expected to provide up to 30 percent additional energy generation, depending on installation conditions.

ADM Solar said that the higher power output and efficiency could reduce the number of modules required for projects, resulting in lower balance of system (BOS) costs through reduced structural requirements, cabling and installation time.

The company stated that the modules are designed to offer improved low-light performance, enhanced temperature stability and lower degradation compared with conventional technologies. To improve product reliability, every module will undergo pre- and post-electroluminescence (EL) testing aimed at detecting microcracks and hotspots before shipment.

ADM Solar will provide a 10-year product warranty and a 25-year linear performance warranty for the new modules. The company said that the modules are designed with less than 1 percent  degradation in the first year and an annual degradation rate of 0.4 percent thereafter.

Alongside the product launch, ADM Solar announced plans to set up a 2.4 GW solar cell manufacturing facility and increase its PV module manufacturing capacity to 2.4 GW by the end of FY 2026–27. The company said that the expansion is intended to strengthen domestic manufacturing capabilities, improve supply chain resilience and support the increasing demand for DCR-compliant solar projects.

ADM Solar added that the upcoming modules will comply with major Indian and international standards, including IEC, BIS and the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) requirements.
