ADM Solar Power has supplied 200 MW of photovoltaic modules for a large ground-mounted solar project across Gujarat and Maharashtra.
According to the company, the supply includes 550 Wp mono PERC bifacial solar PV modules. Of the total capacity, 120 MW has been delivered to project sites in Gujarat, while the remaining 80 MW has been supplied to Maharashtra. The modules are being deployed for a large-scale solar installation developed for one of ADM Solar Power’s clients.
The supplied modules feature a rated efficiency of up to 21.5 percent and are designed for utility-scale applications. The bifacial configuration allows power generation from both sides of the panel, enabling higher energy yields in ground-mounted projects where reflective surfaces can improve rear-side generation.
Bifacial solar modules are increasingly being adopted in large solar parks in states such as Gujarat and Maharashtra, driven by their potential to improve plant performance and reduce the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE).
The latest supply adds to the ongoing deployment of high-capacity solar PV modules across India, as developers accelerate installations to meet renewable energy targets and rising power demand.
India has been scaling up solar capacity through large ground-mounted projects, with western states continuing to play a key role due to land availability, high solar irradiance, and established transmission infrastructure.
