ADM Solar has partnered with the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) to implement a 3 MWp solar rooftop and car parking project across seven Namo Bharat railway stations along the Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut corridor.
The stations include Sarai Kale Khan, Jangpura, and New Ashok Nagar in Delhi, Pratappur and Shatabdi Nagar in Meerut, Rithani in Ghaziabad, and Modupuram in Modinagar.
The project, part of India’s first semi-high-speed regional rail system, is being executed under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model, enabling NCRTC to adopt solar power without upfront capital investment. ADM Solar will manage the entire project lifecycle, including design, supply, installation, commissioning, and 25 years of operation and maintenance under a long-term power purchase agreement.
Using advanced 550Wp mono-facial solar PV modules, the installation combines rooftop and car park structures to optimize space and deliver electricity directly at the point of consumption. Once operational, the 3 MW system is expected to reduce the corridor’s carbon footprint, lower dependence on conventional grid power, and deliver significant cost savings over its lifetime.
The project highlights NCRTC’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure and underscores ADM Solar’s expertise in large-scale, long-term solar projects for government and institutional clients, contributing to India’s broader renewable energy and climate goals.
