ADIPEC 2025 opens in Abu Dhabi with 45 ministers, 250 C-suite leaders, and 1,800 speakers, spotlighting innovation, youth engagement, and global collaboration to drive a resilient and intelligent energy future.

							The global energy summit ADIPEC 2025 officially opened on November 3 at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi. Hosted by ADNOC, the four-day event runs until November 6, bringing together a record number of global leaders, including 45 ministers and 250 C-suite executives, under the theme 'Energy. Intelligence. Impact.'
The four-day conference features over 1,800 speakers, among them government representatives from Argentina, Austria, Bahrain, Germany, Lebanon, and Uzbekistan, as well as industry heads from Shell, bp, ExxonMobil, CNPC, Eni, Microsoft, SandboxAQ, and SLB.
Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Group CEO, opened the event, emphasising the need for building resilient energy systems that deliver progress for all.
A high-profile ministerial panel followed, featuring Doug Burgum, 55th Secretary of the Interior, USA; H.E. Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy; and H.E. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Qatar’s Minister of State for Energy Affairs. Brad Smith, Vice Chair and President of Microsoft, also addressed the opening ceremony.
Christopher Hudson, President of dmg events, highlighted that this edition marks ADIPEC’s “most robust exhibition to date,” serving as a catalyst for innovation and collaboration across the energy value chain.
The ADIPEC Exhibition showcases cutting-edge technologies such as Unitree’s H1 humanoid robot, Gecko Robotics’ TOKA-5 wall-climbing robot, IKM Subsea’s Merlin ROV, Data Bridge’s SkyShine drone-cleaning system, and Bechtel’s Low Energy Ejector Desalination System (LEEDS), all reflecting the industry’s shift toward efficiency and sustainability.
A major highlight this year is the 13th Young ADIPEC programme, engaging over 1,400 students through hands-on learning and innovation challenges. A new feature, The Innovators, gives young minds a platform to present energy-focused research and ideas to global investors and industry experts. Winners of the Methane Abatement Challenge will also be announced during the event.
