Adani Wind, the wind energy manufacturing arm of Adani New Industries (ANIL), has announced that the company has secured a 165 MW wind turbine supply order from Fourth Partner Energy (FPEL).

The order is for FPEL’s upcoming wind energy projects across Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Gujarat. Adani Wind will supply a total of 50 wind turbine generators (WTGs) of Adani’s 3.3 MW platform, the company said in a statement.

Commenting on the development, Milind Kulkarni, CEO, Adani Wind, said, “Adani Wind’s commitment to making in India, for both the domestic and international markets, remains steadfast. With each wind turbine we produce, we reaffirm our pledge to empower communities, create green jobs, and contribute to building a greener and self-reliant India for future generations.”

Adani’s scope of delivery covers ex-works supply of nacelles, hubs, drivetrains, blade sets, and towers, as well as supervision of foundation works, project commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance services.

Srinivasa Male Reddy, Head of Operations at Fourth Partner Energy, remarked, “This partnership with Adani Wind is more than just strategic procurement towards our portfolio target of 9 GW of clean energy assets by FY31. It is a joint step toward generational impact and ensuring a greener tomorrow. By harnessing cutting-edge wind technology and supporting India’s self-reliance, we’re building a future where renewable energy sustains communities, businesses and the planet.”

FPEL is developing over 2 GW of solar and wind projects across Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Karnataka to serve the growing demand for hybrid clean energy in the C&I segment. The company already operates 1.6 GW and aims to scale its capacity to 3.6 GW by FY27. Earlier this year, FPEL raised USD 275 million in equity from IFC, ADB, and DEG.

Adani Wind has an integrated 2.25 GW wind turbine manufacturing facility at Mundra, Gujarat. Besides this order, the company has also secured external orders of 69.3 MW each from First Energy and Opera Energy.
