Adani Power Assigns 2,500 MW RE RTC Contract to Powerpulse Trading Solutions

Adani Power Ltd. has assigned the 2,500 MW Renewable Energy Round-The-Clock (RE RTC) power supply contract awarded by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) to Powerpulse Trading Solutions Ltd. (PTSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Energy Solutions Ltd.

Adani Power had received a Letter of Award (LOA) from MSEDCL on April 2, 2026, for the supply of 2,500 MW of RE RTC power for a period of 25 years from the scheduled commencement date of supply.

The contract envisages the supply of power aggregated from various sources and carries minimum supply obligations, including a minimum ratio of renewable power.

Following the receipt of the LOA, Adani Power decided to assign the contract to PTSL in view of its long-term plans to invest in capacity expansion across thermal, nuclear and international hydroelectric projects.

According to Adani Power, the transfer will enable the company to focus on its core activity of baseload power generation under long-term arrangements. The company said that this approach would help ensure steady revenue and predictable profitability.

PTSL, being a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Energy Solutions, will take over the rights and obligations associated with the MSEDCL contract.
