Adani Group to Install 15 GW Renewable Power Projects in Andhra Pradesh
The renewable projects would be put up across the districts of Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam, and Vizianagaram.

Adani Group has revealed its plans to invest in 15,000 MW of renewable power projects, and a 400 MW data centre in Andhra Pradesh.
The announcement was made during the Andhra Pradesh Global Investors Summit. Apparently, two cement plants with a total capacity of 10 million tonnes per annum would also be set up by the Group.
Meanwhile, the renewable projects would be put up across the districts of Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam, and Vizianagaram.
With a long coastline of more than 975 km, Andhra Pradesh is blessed with ample amounts of solar and wind energy along with pumped storage. The state has a renewable energy potential of more than 80 GW.
The Andhra Pradesh Global Investors Summit witnessed the signing of various MoUs. Reliance Industries made the headlines for announcing the installation of 10 GW of solar energy generation capacity in the state.
Meanwhile, ReNew, Indosol and Greenko signed MoU for INR 97,500 crore, INR 76,033 crore, and INR 47,500 crore respectively.
