Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has announced that the company, through its various stepdown subsidiaries, has commercially operationalised an aggregate of 951 MW power projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
While 251 MW has been operationalised at Baiya, Rajasthan, and 700 MW has been added at Khavda, Gujarat. It includes 926 MW of solar projects and 25 MW of hybrid projects.
“Based on the relevant clearances, it was decided at 9.58 p.m. on March 29, 2026, to commercially operationalise these plants and commence power generation from March 30, 2026,” the company stated in a regulatory filing.
Among solar capacity, Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five has added 50 MW, Adani Green Energy Twenty Four has added 100 MW, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C has operationalised 225 MW, and Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A has added 300 MW, while Adani Solar Energy Barmer One has added 251 MW. Adani Solar Energy Jodhpur Six has operationalised a 25 MW hybrid capacity.
With the commissioning of these plants, AGEL's total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 18,933.3 MW.
Adani Green Energy is developing the world’s largest renewable energy plant of 30 GW on the barren wasteland at Khavda in Kutch, Gujarat. Built across 538 sq km, it is five times the size of Paris and will be visible even from space. Once complete, it will be the planet’s largest power plant across all energy sources, the company claimed.
AGEL plans to expand its renewable energy portfolio to 50 GW by 2030 through a combination of solar, wind, hybrid, and pumped storage projects with a planned investment of about USD 21 billion. The company has already secured over 5 GW of pumped storage project sites. It is also increasing its focus on commercial and industrial (C&I) and merchant segments. The expansion is supported by a USD 3.4 billion revolving construction facility.
