Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has announced the operationalisation of 112.5 MW of renewable energy projects at Khavda, Gujarat.

The projects were commissioned through AGEL’s step-down subsidiaries, Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six Ltd. (87.5 MW solar) and Adani Green Energy Twenty Five B Ltd. (25 MW hybrid).

“With the commissioning of these plants, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 16,598.6 MW,” the company stated in a filing. The addition at Khavda, home to some of the largest renewable projects in India, marks another milestone in AGEL’s expansion roadmap.

Adani Green, part of the Adani Group, has been aggressively expanding its renewable portfolio, with solar, wind, and hybrid projects spread across multiple states. The Khavda development is expected to significantly contribute to India’s renewable energy targets and help reduce reliance on fossil fuels.

Recently, AGEL had also operationalised an aggregate 408.1 MW of renewable power projects at Khavda, through multiple subsidiaries, including Adani Renewable Energy Forty One Ltd. (124.8 MW wind), Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Ltd. (125 MW hybrid), and others.
