Conglomerate Adani Group’s renewable energy arm Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) said that its step down subsidiary, Adani Solar Energy Chitrakoot One Ltd, has commissioned a 25 MW solar power plant in Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh (UP).

Conglomerate Adani Group’s renewable energy arm Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) said that its step down subsidiary, Adani Solar Energy Chitrakoot One Ltd, has commissioned a 25 MW solar power plant in Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh (UP).
For this plant, the company have signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Noida Power Company Ltd (NPCL) at Rs 3.08/kWh.
With the commissioning of the project, AGEL’s total operational renewable capacity grows to 2,975 MW.
The company said in a statement that plant will be connected to our Energy Network Operation Centre (ENOC) that continuously monitors and analyses performance of 80+ solar and wind plants across diverse locations in India.
Recently, the company has also commissioned and announced 100 MW solar power plant, despite of ongoing pandemic backed by advance resource planning.
With the commissioning of this project AGEL has total renewable capacity of 14,795 MW including 11,820 MW awarded and under implementation projects.
Commenting on the development, Vneet S.
