ACME Solar Holdings Ltd. has commissioned a 240.720 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan through its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Suryodaya Pvt. Ltd., marking another milestone in the company's energy storage portfolio.

The BESS project was commissioned on June 30, 2026, and is located at Sanwara and Mehar Nagar villages in Pokhran tehsil of Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan. The project is scheduled to commence commercial operations from July 2, 2026, the company said in a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges.

Following the latest commissioning, ACME Suryodaya's total commissioned battery energy storage capacity has reached 285 MW / 842.624 MWh, strengthening the company's presence in India's fast-growing energy storage segment.

The update follows an earlier disclosure made by the company on April 13, 2026, regarding the development of the project. The commissioning comes as battery energy storage systems play an increasingly important role in supporting renewable energy integration, improving grid reliability, and enabling the efficient utilisation of solar and wind power.
