ACME Solar to Acquire AK Renewable Infra for INR 79.25 Crore

ACME Solar Holdings has approved the acquisition of AK Renewable Infra for INR 79.25 crore to strengthen its renewable energy project pipeline in Rajasthan. The latter has already secured all development rights, including land, connectivity and associated approvals for 300 MW capacity in Rajasthan.

ACME Solar Holdings has announced its plan to acquire AK Renewable Infra for INR 79.25 crore. The target company is engaged in the business of developing renewable energy parks in India.

“The Operational Committee of the Board of Directors of ACME Solar Holdings has considered and approved the company to enter into a share purchase agreement for the acquisition of 100 percent equity shares of AK Renewable Infra for an Enterprise Value of INR 79.25 Crore, subject to closing conditions and adjustments as per the SPA,” stated the company in a regulatory filing.

AK Renewable Infra has secured all development rights, including land, connectivity and associated approvals for 300 MW capacity in Rajasthan, which would enhance ACME Solar’s project pipeline and also accelerate project execution and commissioning, thus expediting revenue and profitability, the company stated.

The company has executed a share purchase agreement with AK Renewable Infra and its existing shareholders. The acquisition does not fall under the category of a related party transaction, it said.
