ACME Solar Expands Operational BESS Capacity to 3.62 GWh
ACME Solar has scaled its operational Battery Energy Storage System capacity to approximately 3.62 GWh across Rajasthan and further strengthened its clean energy pipeline by signing a 25-year PPA with SECI for a 300 MW ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project.

ACME Solar Holdings, through its various subsidiaries, has, cumulatively, commissioned ~2.29 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in the current financial year till date. With this achievement, the overall operational BESS capacity stands at ~3.62 GWh across 3 project sites in Rajasthan. This is one of the fastest scale-ups of BESS capacity in India and represents a major step forward in strengthening grid stability, supporting peak-hour demand and advancing the transition to reliable, round-the-clock renewable power.
In a separate development, ACME Solar Holdings has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 300 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project. The project, which will be developed through the company's wholly owned subsidiary, combines wind and solar power generation to ensure reliable renewable energy supply.
With the project tariff already approved by the relevant central and state regulatory authorities, the agreement strengthens ACME Solar's long-term revenue visibility and further expands its clean energy portfolio while paving the way for timely project execution.
