ACME Solar Commissions Two BESS Projects in Rajasthan

ACME Solar commissions BESS capacity across two FDRE projects, taking its total operational BESS capacity to 4.96 GWh.

ACME Solar Holdings through its subsidiaries has commissioned additional cumulative BESS capacity of 107.36 MW / 437.49 MWh across two key projects in Rajasthan. The commissioning of both these projects was successfully achieved on September 30, 2026 and the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for both projects shall be October 02, 2026. Following these milestones, the total operational BESS capacity of ACME Solar now stands at 4.96 GWh.

ACME Solar has commissioned the first phase of 53.73 MW / 222.969 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity under its Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The project is located at Neemri village in Tehsil Rawatbhata, Chittorgarh district, Rajasthan, and is connected to the Neemuch substation.

The project is backed by a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with a National Renewable Energy Implementing Agency (REIA). ACME Solar expects to commission the complete BESS capacity of the project within the current financial year.

ACME Solar has commissioned an additional 53.63 MW / 214.52 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity under its Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) Assured Peak Power Project. With this commissioning, the total BESS capacity commissioned under the project has reached 159.58 MW / 638.32 MWh.

Located at Kelan village in Bikaner, Rajasthan, the project is connected to the Bikaner III substation and is backed by a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with a National Renewable Energy Implementing Agency (REIA). The remaining BESS capacity for the full 300 MW project is expected to be commissioned within the current financial year.
