ACME Solar Holdings Ltd. has commissioned the sixth phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan, further expanding its energy storage footprint.
The latest phase adds 38 MW / 80.252 MWh capacity and is located at Sanwara and Mehar Nagar villages in Pokhran tehsil of Jaisalmer.
The project has been developed through its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Suryodaya Pvt. Ltd., and has been commissioned recently. The company stated that the commercial operation date (COD) for this phase will be April 15, 2026.
With the addition of Phase VI, the total commissioned capacity of the BESS project has reached 285 MW / 601.904 MWh. The commissioning follows a series of earlier phases announced between February and April 2026, reflecting steady progress in the project’s execution.
The development marks a significant step in strengthening grid stability and energy storage infrastructure, supporting the integration of renewable energy in the region.
