ACME Solar Commissions 8 MW in Gujarat, Wind Project Capacity Hits 52 MW
ACME Solar adds 8 MW to its Surendranagar wind project, raising operational capacity to 52 MW. Project backed by PFC, using in-house EPC and 4 MW SANY turbines under 25-year PPA.

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd., through its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd, has commissioned an additional 8 MW of its 100 MW wind power project in Surendranagar, Gujarat, marking the third phase of the project.
The commissioning was witnessed by officials from GEDA and PGVCL, with the formal certificate expected shortly. This brings the project’s operational capacity to 52 MW, contributing to ACME Solar’s total operational capacity of 2,942 MW.
Financed by Power Finance Corporation and built using the company’s in-house EPC capabilities with SANY’s 4 MW turbines, the project will supply power under a 25-year PPA with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd.
The company has 2,942 MW operational capacity and a 4,578 MW pipeline under construction, including ~15 GWh of BESS installations. With in-house EPC and O&M divisions, ACME Solar manages end-to-end project development efficiently while maintaining industry-leading CUF and operating margins.
