ACME Solar Awarded 450 MW-1800 MWh SJVN FDRE-IV Project

ACME Solar wins 450 MW–1800 MWh SJVN FDRE-IV project at INR 6.75/unit, integrating solar and BESS to deliver assured peak power.

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd. has secured a 450 MW -1800 MWh assured peak power project under SJVN’s FDRE-IV tender at a tariff of INR 6.75/unit for 25 years.

The Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) tender saw an e-reverse auction on October 9, 2025, with the Letter of Award (LoA) issued on November 10, 2025. The project will integrate 300 MW of solar capacity and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) of around 1800 MWh, designed to supply power during a four-hour peak demand window with 90 percent MM List-II and utilizes night-time transmission connectivity in high-irradiation zones of Rajasthan. “Securing the SJVN FDRE-IV project allows us to maximize night-time connectivity and achieve early revenue, it’s a win-win for both ACME and SJVN,” said Rahula Kashyapa, Chief Commercial Officer, ACME Solar.
