ACME Conferred with Leading Renewable Energy Developers Award

Only Indian company in Lithium-ion based Energy Storage Solutions (LIB ESS) space

ACME has announced that it has been conferred with the award for ‘Leading Renewable Energy Developers – Solar’, at the Renewable Energy India Awards 2015. The award was received by Mr Prashant Panda, President, ACME.

On this occasion, Mr Manoj Kumar Upadhyay, Founder & Chairman, ACME said, "We thank UBM for recognizing the efforts and potential of ACME in the renewable energy space in the country and selecting the company for this award. This award will encourage us in our endeavour to bring green technologies to the country by utilizing solar power and lithium-ion based energy storage solutions and, in turn, play an important role in bridging the electricity demands-supply gap”.

 The REI Awards recognize the renewable energy sector and its key players in the most comprehensive manner.  The award aims to promote building a Greener world in India and motivating the industry to be more “innovative” and “quality conscious”. They celebrate the spirit of excellence & innovation, who put in efforts to make a difference and set benchmarks.

ACME has an existing portfolio of more than 1 GW, including 526 MW in Telangana, 160 MW in Andhra Pradesh, 104 MW in Punjab, 100 MW JNNSM Phase II Projects in Rajasthan and other projects in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Chhattisgarh.  The company aims to generate 7,500 MW by 2017. 

ACME has also earned the distinction of being the only Indian company in Lithium-ion based Energy Storage Solutions (LIB ESS) for residential and commercial usages, globally.
