ACME Cleantech Solutions has won Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) 10th and 11th Green Ammonia auctions under the SIGHT Scheme (Mode-2A), for a supply of 25,000 TPA of Green Ammonia to Paradeep Phosphates (PPL), Zuarinagar (Goa), at a tariff of INR 62.89/kg and 20,000 TPA to Indorama India in Haldia, West Bengal, at INR 64.74/kg.

This is ACME’s 6th overall win under SECI’s green ammonia auctions. SECI has planned a series of 13 auctions over the coming month, under a tender aggregating a cumulative procurement capacity of 7.24 lakh MT/year.

Last week, SECI’s 9th Green Ammonia auction discovered a record-low tariff of INR 49.75/kg for 1,00,000 TPA supply at IFFCO Paradeep, with Acme Cleantech Solutions emerging as the successful bidder.

ACME also secured supply for Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd. (IFFCO) at Kandla in Gujarat, with a capacity of 1,00,000 TPA at a price of INR 54.73/kg and 50,000 TPA of green ammonia to Coromandel International Ltd. (CIL), Vishakhapatnam at a price of INR 51.89/kg.

Last month, it won SECI’s first-ever green ammonia auction to supply 75,000 TPA to Paradeep Phosphates Ltd., Odisha at a price of INR 55.75/kg.

With these wins, ACME Cleantech Solutions’ total secured capacity from SECI increased to 3,70,000 TPA.

So far, SECI has awarded a cumulative capacity of 7,05,000 MT/year through the 11 auctions conducted so far. ACME Cleantech Solutions, NTPC Renewable Energy, Onix Renewable, Oriana Power, Jakson Green and a consortium of SCC Infrastructure with InSolare Energy have won the previous auctions at a tariff in the range of 50.75/kg to INR 55.75/kg.

“From Odisha to Gujarat, Andhra, and Goa to West Bengal, India’s Green Ammonia footprint is steadily widening. Each auction adds not just capacity, but also depth—demonstrating that the offtake model continues to provide confidence, even as tariff levels reflect the realities of diverse geographies, scales, and participation dynamics,” stated SECI.

It further added, “What this auction signals is important: Green Ammonia is no longer confined to a few locations, but it is being anchored across multiple fertiliser hubs, with offtakers, like PPL, stepping forward and shaping the transition. India’s approach of transparent processes, assured demand, and strong payment security remains central to building trust and sustaining momentum across the value chain.”

With MNRE guiding policy, the Department of Fertilizers reinforcing demand certainty, and SECI ensuring transparent facilitation, the Green Ammonia programme is steadily embedding itself in the industrial landscape. The participation of PPL in Goa further underlines the fertiliser sector’s active role in advancing the clean molecule transition.

Green Ammonia has moved from a concept to a commercially viable reality in record time, stated SECI, further asserting that India is consolidating its position as a front-runner in building a Green Hydrogen and derivatives economy.
