ABB India Ltd. has secured an order worth INR 173.55 crore from Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. The order involves the manufacture and delivery of 3.X wind turbine converters and electrical cabinets, to be produced at ABB India’s Nelamangala facility in Bengaluru on a built-to-print basis.
The contract is entirely domestic in nature, with monthly deliveries scheduled from January 2026 through December 2026. The order does not involve any related party transactions, nor does it include interests from ABB India’s promoters or promoter group.This development reinforces ABB India’s role in strengthening the country’s renewable energy infrastructure and domestic manufacturing capabilities for wind energy components. By localising production, the company aims to support timely delivery, enhance supply chain reliability, and contribute to India’s clean energy transition.
The firm noted that the contract will strengthen its role in India’s renewable energy sector, supporting the country’s wind power targets while enhancing its domestic manufacturing capabilities for critical turbine components.
