AB Energia, a solar EPC company, has secured a 15 MWp solar EPC order from Avener Capital. The project will be developed in Mahoba district, Uttar Pradesh, and is scheduled for completion by mid-April.

The project announcement comes at a time when the Union Budget 2026 has reinforced the government’s focus on accelerating renewable energy deployment, strengthening domestic clean power infrastructure, and enabling private sector-led execution. Solar EPC projects such as this, play a critical role in translating policy intent into on-ground capacity addition.

As part of the project scope, AB Energia will undertake end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction of the solar power plant. The project will deploy advanced bifacial TOPCon modules, designed to deliver higher energy output and improved efficiency under Indian climatic conditions.

Commenting on the development, Sandesh Naik, Chief Financial Officer, (CFO), AB Energia, said: “The Union Budget 2026 has further strengthened the policy push towards accelerating renewable energy capacity through scale, efficiency, and technology-driven execution. This order reflects the strong confidence placed in AB Energia’s EPC capabilities and our commitment to delivering high-quality solar assets within defined timelines. As this project marks our first venture in Uttar Pradesh, a strategically important and high-growth renewable energy market, our entry into the state aligns with our broader expansion roadmap to diversify our geographic footprint and actively contribute to region-specific clean energy targets while supporting India’s overall energy transition journey.”

This order further strengthens AB Energia’s EPC footprint across utility-scale solar installations in India, particularly in high-potential states such as Uttar Pradesh. The company continues to focus on timely execution, strong project management and adherence to quality and safety standards, supporting India’s clean energy transition.
