40 Under 40 – Honouring the Brightest Minds in Renewable Energy!

India’s renewable energy sector has marked a historic achievement in FY 2024-25, with the total installed renewable energy (RE) capacity reaching 220.10 GW—a record annual addition of 29.52 GW, as per data released by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). This exceptional growth not only highlights India’s accelerated transition to clean power but also reinforces its commitment to achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel-based capacity by 2030, in line with its ‘Panchamrit’ climate goals.

Amidst this green energy surge, Energetica India is proud to announce its flagship initiative—‘40 Under 40: 'Honouring the Brightest Minds in Renewable Energy!’ This campaign aims to spotlight and celebrate the brightest young minds who are leading the transformation of India’s green energy ecosystem through innovative thinking, technical expertise, and impactful leadership.

The ‘40 Under 40’ program is a quest to identify the top 40 most influential business leaders under the age of forty who have made significant contributions to the renewable energy industry. Whether through groundbreaking projects, policy innovation, cutting-edge technology, or sustainable entrepreneurship, these changemakers are setting benchmarks for excellence and inspiring the next generation of clean energy champions.

By acknowledging their achievements and offering a platform to showcase their work, Energetica India seeks to promote continued innovation and accelerate the country’s clean energy transition. This initiative not only celebrates individual success but also strengthens the collective mission of building a sustainable energy future for India.

We invite young professionals and leaders from across the renewable energy spectrum—solar, wind, bioenergy, hydro, green hydrogen, storage, and clean mobility—to nominate themselves or others who deserve to be recognised.
