16th REI Expo: Asia's Premier Renewable Energy Showcase Set to Energise the Industry
The event is scheduled to unfold from October 4 to 6, 2023, at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR and will be co-located with the eagerly awaited inaugural edition of 'The Battery Show India' (TBSI).

As of July 2023, India’s installed solar energy capacity stands at 67.07 GW, which has increased by 24.4 times in the last 9 years.
In addition to solar, wind and run-of-the-river hydroelectricity are also being used as environment-friendly and cheaper power sources in India. The country is ranked fourth globally in renewable energy installed capacity (including large hydro), wind power capacity, and solar power capacity.
India's EV Revolution
India is also making strides in the EV sector. The Delhi Government has initiated integrating solar energy for residential EV charging. Nagpur’s on-site solar charging pilot in the depot for buses and 4-wheelers, and Magenta Power’s on-site solar-based EV charging station in Mumbai have also demonstrated the feasibility of this mechanism in India.
REI Expo 2023 Set to Showcase Innovations
While India has ambitious targets set under the National Solar Mission and the National Wind Mission, it aims to generate a substantial portion of its energy from renewable sources. In this scenario, the Renewable Energy India (REI) expo, Asia’s largest expo in the renewable energy space, plays a pivotal role in showcasing the latest technological advancements, fostering partnerships, and driving innovation in India's renewable energy industry.
