iNVERGY India, an innovator in energy storage and power solutions, has announced the inauguration of its state-of-the-art Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Giga Factory in Dasna, Uttar Pradesh. With an annual manufacturing capacity of 3 GWh and an investment exceeding INR 200 crore, the facility marks a milestone in India’s journey towards energy independence and sustainable growth.
Spread across 217,000 square feet, the fully automated manufacturing facility is among India’s largest battery energy storage production plants. The factory will manufacture advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), LiFePO4 battery packs, solar inverters, and integrated energy storage solutions designed to meet the growing demands of residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale renewable energy projects.
The facility incorporates cutting-edge technologies, including AI-driven Battery Management Systems (BMS), IoT-enabled remote monitoring capabilities, advanced quality control mechanisms and highly automated production lines, ensuring superior product reliability, safety and performance.
The launch comes at a crucial time as India accelerates its renewable energy deployment and grid modernisation efforts. By strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities, the new facility will help reduce dependence on imports while supporting the nation’s ambitious clean energy targets and energy security objectives.
The inauguration follows a landmark year for GP Eco Solutions India, the parent company of iNVERGY. During FY 2025–26, the company reported consolidated revenue of INR 418 crore, registering growth of approximately 69 percent over the previous financial year. Annual net profit surged to INR 40.1 crore, compared to INR 10 crore in FY25, reflecting strong operational performance, improved efficiencies and increasing demand for the company’s renewable energy solutions portfolio.
The strong financial performance was driven by growing adoption of solar inverters, lithium battery systems, Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS) and integrated clean energy technologies across residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale segments. The company’s continued investments in manufacturing capacity, technology innovation and market expansion have further strengthened its position as one of India’s fastest-growing clean energy enterprises.
Speaking on the occasion, Deepak Sharma, Managing Director of iNVERGY, stated, “The commissioning of our BESS Giga Factory is more than just a manufacturing milestone—it is a commitment to India’s sustainable future. As the nation moves towards greater adoption of renewable energy, reliable energy storage solutions will play a critical role in enabling a resilient and self-reliant energy ecosystem. Through this facility, we aim to deliver world-class energy storage technologies while contributing to the vision of Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
Astik Mani Tripathi, Co-founder of iNVERGY, added, “Our investment in this facility goes beyond products; it is an investment in value creation, innovation and long-term growth. We are building a strong foundation for the future of energy storage in India while creating employment opportunities, fostering technological advancement, and contributing to the nation’s clean energy ambitions.”
The new facility is expected to generate significant direct and indirect employment opportunities while fostering technological innovation and strengthening India’s position as a global hub for advanced energy storage manufacturing.
Aligned with the Government of India’s Net Zero ambitions, the Make in India initiative and the nation’s clean energy roadmap, the factory will serve as a key enabler in accelerating renewable energy adoption and supporting India’s transition towards a greener and more sustainable future.
