Gamesa secures 50 MW wind turbine order from Atria Power
To handle supply, erection and commissioning for Atria’s Kukru Site in Madhya Pradesh

Gamesa India, has announced a new 50 MW wind power project with Atria Power to be commissioned in Kukru wind farm, Madhya Pradesh by 31 March 2016.
The 50 MW project in Kukru is the second order the company has signed with Atria Power with the last one being a 50 MW order foreseeing commissioning in the state of Tamil Nadu. As per the new order, Gamesa will handle the supply, erection & commissioning of 25 units of G97-2.0 MW T104 wind turbines specially designed for low wind sites in India.
Speaking about the repeat order win for the company, Mr.Ramesh Kymal, Chairman and Managing Director, GamesaIndia said, “We are happy to announce this new deal with Atria Power that has come close on the heels of our previous order announced recently. We are confident that our customers will continue to trust us given the confidence they have gained through our previous work with them. I am certain these projects will further cement our relationships with our existing base of loyal customers.”
This project is a part of Gamesa India’s consolidated order book for the fourth quarter of 2015 and forms part of 130MW order book which was recently announced globally. Since two years, Gamesa has maintained its leadership position in the Country’s wind turbine space with unparalleled solutions and service across the wind energy value chain.
