India Adds 6.05 GW Wind Power Capacity in FY26, Total Installed Capacity Crosses 56 GW
India has recorded a 6.05 GW wind capacity addition in FY 2025–26, marking a 46 percent year-on-year increase and pushing total installed capacity beyond 56 GW, according to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
