Vedanta’s TSPL Leads Power Generation in Punjab with 1,806 MW Output

Currently, the TSPL plant near Banawala is supplying the highest amount of electricity in Punjab. Unit 1 has generated 604 MW, Unit 2 has produced 627 MW, and Unit 3 has delivered 575 MW, resulting in a total generation of 1,806 MW.

Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), a Vedanta Power company and North India’s largest private thermal power producer, has led to the establishment of Punjab’s biggest biomass manufacturing facility, produced in the form of torrefied bio-pellets, near its 1980 MW thermal plant in Mansa.
