MNRE Designates SECI as Sole Renewable Energy Implementing Agency for Issuing Procurement Bids

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has designated Solar Energy Corporation of India as the sole Renewable Energy Implementing Agency (REIA) for issuing renewable energy procurement bids. However, the other REIAs – NTPC, NHPC and SJVN – will continue to fulfil their obligations as REIAs in respect of bids already issued by them.
