Hindalco Unveils INR 500 Crore EV Component Manufacturing Plant in Pune
Hindalco Industries has inaugurated its first dedicated EV component manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune, investing INR 500 crore to produce lightweight aluminium battery enclosures. It has also delivered 10,000 aluminium battery enclosures for automotive major Mahindra’s state-of-the-art e-SUVS – BE 6 and XEV 9e.
