Centre Approves INR 797 Crore 4 MTPA Green Hydrogen Jetty at Paradip Port, Odisha
Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has approved an INR 797.17 crore green hydrogen and ammonia handling jetty at Paradip Port in Odisha, to be developed by Paradip Port Authority under the BOT model. The proposed facility will have a handling capacity of 4 million tonnes per annum.

Kandla Port to Commence Green Hydrogen Production by July 2025
Kandla port is set to become India’s first to host an operational green hydrogen plant using indigenous electrolysers manufactured by L&T, with a 1 MW facility at Deendayal Port Authority which will be operational by July 2025. It is expected to produce 18 kg of hydrogen per hour.
