PM Modi and Bhutan’s King Inaugurate 1,020 MW Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck have jointly inaugurated the 1,020 MW Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project. The countries have also signed an MoU for cooperation on renewable energy. India has also announced a concessional Line of Credit of INR 40 billion to fund the energy projects in Bhutan.
