Cabinet Approves INR 5,070 Cr PM Surya Sarovar Yojana for 5 GW Floating Solar with 10 GWh ESS

The Union Cabinet has approved the Pradhan Mantri Surya Sarovar Yojana (PM-SSY) with an outlay of INR 5,070 crore to develop 5,000 MW of floating solar PV projects integrated with 10,000 MWh of energy storage systems across India.
