Gujarat Announces Additional State Subsidy for RTS up to 2.18 kWp Under PM Surya Ghar
Gujarat has approved additional state subsidies for residential rooftop solar systems of up to 2.18 kWp, limiting consumer contributions to 5 percent of the benchmark cost for SC/ST households and 10 percent for other households.

The Odisha Government has allocated INR 495 crore for additional state support to rooftop solar projects under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana for FY26-27, alongside INR 200 crore for green hydrogen and ammonia projects and a total INR 4,505 crore outlay for energy sector infrastructure, including distribution, transmission, and renewable energy initiatives.
