Delhi Offers Up to 3 kW Rooftop Solar at Zero Upfront Cost Under New Solar Energy Policy
Delhi has revised its solar policy to provide zero-upfront-cost rooftop solar systems of up to 3 kW, backed by total subsidies of up to INR 1.56 lakh, to eligible households consuming up to 400 units a month, targeting 2.30 lakh households and 500 MW of additional rooftop capacity by March 2027.

Delhi Govt Approves INR 30,000 Subsidy for 3 kW Rooftop Solar Systems Under PM Surya Ghar
The Delhi government has approved an additional INR 30,000 subsidy for 3 kW rooftop solar installations under the new 'PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana State Top-Up', raising the total subsidy to INR 1.08 lakh. With an outlay of INR 50 crore, the state aims 2.3 lakh residential rooftop solar installations over the next 3 years.
