ONGC NTPC Green Arm Commissions Additional 50 MW at 300 MW Solar Project in Rajasthan

Project Sixteen Renewable Power, a step-down subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green and a group company of NTPC Green Energy, has operationalised an additional 50 MW at its 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan, taking the project's cumulative commissioned capacity to 250 MW. With this, the NGEL group's total installed capacity has increased to 10,671.40 MW.

MoD Approves 250 MW Solar-Plus-BESS Project on Defence Land in Uttar Pradesh

The Ministry of Defence has approved a 250 MW solar power project with a battery energy storage system on about 850 acres of vacant defence land in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. NTPC Renewable Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, will be developing the project.

GPS Renewables Wins EPC Contract from NTPC for India’s First Ethanol-to-Jet SAF Plant in Andhra Pradesh

GPS Renewables has been awarded an EPC contract by NTPC to build India’s first Ethanol-to-Jet (ETJ) Sustainable Aviation Fuel plant at Pudimadaka, Andhra Pradesh, with a capacity of 1,800 TPA SAF using ethanol-based feedstock. The company has partnered with Lummus Technology for process technology and licensing, and Xytel India for detailed engineering.
