ALMM Update: Solar Module Capacity Surpasses 217 GW in August 2026

MNRE has updated the ALMM List-I, adding 12,724 MW of solar module capacity in August 2026, taking the total enlisted capacity to 217,107 MW. SLR Solar, Veda Solar, Senses14 Power Solution and Poola Energy are the new entrants. Adani Solar, Fujiyama Power Systems, Credence Solar Panels, HR Solar Solution and SAEL Industries have increased capacities.

MNRE has proposed to introduce a standardised 14-digit alphanumeric nomenclature for Solar PV cell models listed under the ALMM List-II, to improve product identification, traceability and uniformity across the domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem.
